Commitment to transparency
ICBEP believes recognition is only meaningful if it can be verified. This policy explains what information ICBEP publishes and how it can be checked.
What is disclosed
For members and recognized institutions, ICBEP may publish non-sensitive details including institution name, country and city, recognition or membership status, program category, validity dates, and annual review status.
Verification tools
Disclosed information is available through the ICBEP directory and the verification tool, which allow lookup by institution name, program title, or certificate reference.
Status definitions
ICBEP publishes clear status definitions — such as Active Member, Recognized Program, Under Review, Annual Renewal Due, and Expired / Not Listed — so that records are not misinterpreted.
Accuracy and updates
Records are updated following annual reviews and material changes. Institutions are responsible for submitting accurate information and timely annual updates.
Confidential information
Documents and evidence submitted during review are treated as confidential and are not published. Only summary status information is disclosed.
